I love commencement speeches. One of the best speeches in recent history is JK Rowling’s 2008 commencement address at Harvard. Take 20 minutes out of your day to be entertained and inspired.

I was inspired by this and also enjoy commencement speeches.
I loved how she discussed how imagination as not simply being creative but as a power that enables us to empathize with human experiences we have never before shared. I was happy she asked those at Harvard (and in turn now us) to raise our voices for those who do not have a voice.
My favorite quote: “We do not need magic to transform our world. We carry all the power within ourselves we need; we have the power to imagine better.”
